It's happened to my friends, and it's happened to me more than once. It happened to me again and crushed me; absolutely. I'm not sure why this one was different..but we are talking about "ghosting". If you don't know the definition of this term, I don't blame you because it is relatively new for this generation. I think Urban Dictionary describes it best as: "The act of suddenly ceasing all communication with someone the subject is dating, but no longer wishes to date. This is done in hopes that the ghostee will just "get the hint" and leave the subject alone, as opposed to the subject simply telling them he/she is no longer interested.
